I have a conservatory which is currently having post-planning permission.....with the previous house owner carrying out the work and about to link the cons. roof drain to either the house guttering or toilet drain. Which of these is proper?
I live in Glasgow, Scotland.

hi Mat down south of the border it is proper to run rain water into garden soak-aways so if the house rain water goes into one then that is the way to go HTH Tez
You certainly don't want it going into the fould drain system. You'll have rats running around in the guttering.
You cannot under any circumstances feed it into the toilet drain this is strictley against regs and you could be liable to prosecution. The house rainwater down pipes/guttering is OK, or as previously suggested run it to a soak-away.
