Hi... I'm trying to find out what eras different pre-cast concrete houses were built in - not just "post-war" but specific decades - if anyone can help, I'd be VERY grateful... Researching on the internet so far has only led me to government minutes etc in which the appalling condition of these types were discussed - but NOT to anything which tells me when they were built!

So this is the second one: when were ORLIT houses built?

The first Orlt were built around 1948/9 and were built up to 1955

ie., Does that mean that Type 1 Orlits and Type 2 were built in different times? Or do those dates you've given me cover both?

Out of curiosity, have you had your Airey re-vamped in terms of insultion etc? or is it still in its original form?
HAve a look at a website called landmarkprc.co.uk all the information is there on over 30 types of prefabs. Dates are there to. I was trying to find information about a unity PRC house type 1 and this is the only site with the details. Hope it helps you! Media URL: http://landmarkprc.co.uk
