Worried About Being Left In Debt

My daughter took out a mortgage 9 months ago with her boyfriend. She has just found out he has been cheating on her and so wants out. What is the best thing for her to
do? Stay put and get him to agree to sell the house or should they try and rent it out. Bearing in mind it is too short a time for the house price to have gone up and she is worried she will end up in debt after all the fees etc are paid. Seems unfair to me when she did not ask for this problem. Any advice would be welcome. Thankyou.

However, if your daughter has any good friends who might wish to rent the house, then providing a good tenancy agreement is drawn up, it might be worth doing this.
