Noisey Neighbours

Hi I'm trying to find out if my neighbours upstairs own or rent their flat. Is there any website or way I can go about this?

They are driving me and my boyfriend crazy. They shout and swear at each other all day long - which we can just put up with, but now their kids have started skate-boarding inside on there wooden floor. All we hear is wheels going from one end of the flat to the other at all times of the day. Can go on till 10-11 at night.

There not the type of neighbours that we can discuss this to their face so we are trying to find out if its their flat or a private landlord. Thanks Carron

Yes - you can find out who owns the flat at your local land registry. You will have to pay a fee of around �3.

I had the same problem in my last property. They were renting and I kept complaining until they got thrown out. Made me so unhappy in my own home though.

we had the same problem with our neighbour he is living elsewhere but has been altering the house ready to private rent out. He is causing us so many problems all the time, one was banging,drilling,scraping this has been going on for a year now. Iwork nights and was not getting any sleep in the mornings. I reported him to the enviromental health who sent him a letter warning him and they have sent us a chart to record noise. We were told that he could be taken to court if it carries on, i am now under the doctor for stress because of him and i have lost wages with being off sick for 8 weeks i hope this helps.
