Finding sale prices for Blue & White ceramics
2 Answers
Does anybody know where (preferably some websites) where I can discover what prices have recently been obtained for the auction & sale of Blue & White pottery and ceramic items? I have some I want to dispose of but suspect with the current economy now is not a good time to try and sell them. Thanks.

Another option is to take the goods along to your local auction house. You can get a free valuation from them.
I was watching a TV programme last week (I can't remember the channel or the name of the prog) about antiques and the presenter was saying that now is not a particularly good time to sell, as people are being careful with their money due to the current state of the economy.

Blue and white pottery has been made for centuries. The value ranges from items available today in 'Nickle and Dime' shops for a few pence to precious antique works of art worth hundreds of thousands of pounds. Not knowing what you have makes your question a little difficult to answer.
But Mrs_Overall's suggestion is the most sensible approach. Any decent auction house will tell you for free what you might expect to get for a particular piece.
