Has anyone considered moving abroad
I plan to purchase myself a house in another country preferably somewhere warmer than old Blighty e.g Spain Turkey etc. Does anyone know of any good estate agents which can help me?
or does anyone have any advice?

And Spain can drop to -15 in the winter months:

And even where winter temperatures are warmer than ours, the summers are much hotter so expats really feel the cold. Most new builds aren't designed to keep the cold out either - those tiled walls and floors are chilly in the colder days.
Go to mainland Spain in the winter and you'll see.
If you want guaranteed warm weather you'll have to look at the Canary Isles.

I live in Spain. ( Costa Blanca)
I am currently sitting on the front terrace in the sun - although it is only 22degs so far. Most of my neighbours are now back in the shorts.
If your Spain has dropped to minus 15 Ethel I would suggest you try somewhere else - youre doing it wrong! It got down to 6degs on my max/min thermometer this winter, and we still need a little background heat in the evenings.
Best solution - rent somewhere for 6 months - mainland Spain, Canaries, Turkey, Greece etc.
If you feel you are not in the right place, check the English weather pictures. Always makes me feel a lot better!!

Hi
I have recently bought a house in turkey. I found the estate agent online and went on one of their inspection trips. They really look after you and genuinely support you. Thats why i would like to reccommend them.
Their website is http://www.propertyinturkey.com and they are based in Burnley.
hope this helps!!
