According to Energywatch, the 6 major suppliers are operating a "comfortable oligopoly" with little competition amongst themselves. The difference in dual-fuel suppliers is only about 20 pa according to uSwitch.
I was checking this last night. We are with npower duel fuel and spend about 650 total a year (middle cottage,4 floors but only 5 rads and a combi boiler) On 3 different sites I was recommended to switch to Eon and to save 140 a year.Just not sure how true this is.On money supermarket if you do it though them you also get 30 cashback.Martin Lewis site was my link.Have had no probs with npower though, just looking to save a few quid!
