pictures to dvd
Last night I copied my daughters 3.8g of pictures from her trip to Jamaica. This morning the computer won't read it. It says that the disk is blank. When I go to properties it says the disk is full.

If the other disks work you might need to try some recovery software. The product which is most likely to work is IsoBuster. Don't be put off by the mention of $29.95 for a license key. If you accept the 'Free functionality' you should find that you can recover the files without having to pay for the full version of the program:
