name change, Mortgage & deed

I have recently adopted an alternative resolve for a large problem I had from a previous address.
I have been the victim of ID theft , technicaly no fraud aginst me, but its been a virtual ride through hell with having to prove date of sale of proeprty, ID, Signiture etc etc every time a new thing crops up. It seemed never ending. This has also destroyed by credit rating, and although I have lobbied the Credit agencies to resolve the problem, registered with Fruad prevension agency etc ect they seem less then helpful with my problem, basicly i seriously think I would get more sense from a stick.
This has been going on for over 2 years now ( I sold my old property over 3yrs ago), and I still keep getting new letters from the odd debt recovery agency.
After some advice from a friend I changed my name, and slowly sorting my credit (1yr on elec register), but I still have one outstanding problem. My home(current) is in my old name, along with my mortgage. I feel this must be changed, But:
Can I change the deeds without changing the mortgage name, and if i must change both is there any way i can force the mortgage company not to disclose my new name to tie my credit files together.
I know my partner ( we have a joint mortgage and deed) is financialy tied to my old name, but the problems have never afected her credit , only mine.
Any idea's other then selling and starting over again ?

It should therefore be possible to produce that document, or a certified copy of it, to the Land Registry, who will alter the name on the title. It should not need to involve your mortgaee because you are the same person under your old and your new name. It might be a good idea to phone the Land Registry and speak to the enquiries department.
