Separating from my partner

I am thinking of separating from my partner. We are not married and dont have children, but own a house jointly. I have wanted to leave for ages, but feel trapped because neither of us can afford the house on our own, or afford to buy the other person out. The house is currently for sale, but the market is just not moving. Any advice?

agree with sara rent it until you can sell it
