Anyone know how high a brick boundary wall (off street) can be without planning permission ? have livestock using space occasionally so want at least 6foot to stop public feeding them + to contain animals.
Have buiders at the ready but Council offices closed.
Sorry to be awkward Tambo, but can I add something to what Janbee has said ...........
2 metres in many cases, but 1 metre if the wall runs along a public footpath/pavement/road
Just to add to that again! Its not if the wall or fence runs along a highway but if it is considered to be ADJACENT so the 1m rule could apply even if its set back a bit, if it could be considered to interfere with sightlines.
