Dodgy builders
I have just had 2 builders who were supposed to convert 2 rooms in my house leave the job without completeing and left nothing more than a huge mess.
The cost to repair their work is running into thousands of pounds, the company (LTD) that they were trading under has since gone bust and I have no way of getting compensation for any of the work that was done.
I did get a contract from them for one room and i know that it is not worth the paper that it is written on, however the second room was a verbal contract between myself and the buider with no contract signed... Is it possible to take him to small claims for the damage caused to the second room instead of trying to claim a company that is now being closed down?
Thanks
