Another boundary issue!!
Almost finished building the house, the front hedge was removed for access and I have to build a stone wall to comply with the planning regs. I have been told by some people that the wall has to be 1.5 mts in from the road because the road is a single track, but this road is owned by the farm which it leads to and is not maintained by the local authority. The plans were approved with the wall situated on the original boundary, dont want ask the authority for obvious reasons, and I dont want to give up the much land. Any advice would be helpful.
many thanks
