If you must know, last month my dad died of cancer. The post you're referring too was made a couple of days after his death. I filled some answers of that month's generalist in but I couldn't face searching for the rest. I'm sorry that I'm not an intellectual behemoth like you strix, but hey, if posting nasty & snide comments makes you happy then so be it.

I am sorry to read of the death of your father but of what relevance that is to you solving a crossword defeats me.
As to your description of me, I cannot recollect that I have, at any, time claimed to be either an intellectual or a behemoth which I believe is another word for a hippotamus.

It was the nasty & condescending tone of your message. It was your implied suggestion that I'm wasting my time attempting the Generalist just because I struggle to get as many answers as other people. I attempted last months Generalist to take my mind off the sudden void in my life & now I see that others want to trip me up. Thanks everyone. Thanks alot.
