Brazilian waxing: How long before I go on holiday
I am thinking of getting a brazilian wax for my holiday this year. I have never had one done before.
How long before I go on holiday should I get it done? And do you think it would be a sensible idea to have a trial wax before I have one for my holiday.
How long on average does the skin remain smooth and hair free? I really only need it like that for 10 days, I suppose it will be fine for 10 days?
OK, questions over now :o)
Thanks
Steph

Give it a couple of days to calm down. Also - you are aware of what a proper brazilian entails i assume, ouch! Otherwise go for a hollywood which is hair off, but they leave your botty alone. Hair will start to grow back after a few weeks, so with ten days you'll be fine, make sure you moisturise the area lots, with something suitable for after waxing, so it doesn't sting.
If you get any ingrowing hairs use TendSkin, available from beauty shops, and also a little tip - have an aspirin an hour before you have it done, it thins the blood and stops it hurting so much. apparently. And be warned it may itch when it starts growing back, also make sure the hair is long enough to wax in the first place. Good luck and have a great holiday!
