yes it does - all depends on soil conditions though and how you pruned them - are they estabished ect what roses are you trying to get in bloom - do you have any buds?

Thanks for the answer.

They are climbing roses and there are buds already. Just wondered whether adding some tomatoe feed would help them grow bigger and faster?

Tomatoe feed is the same as Rose feed and it is high in potash, which is very good for blooms. It all depends on the variety of rose if you want big blooms as there are many varieties.

Muchlove just seen your post - fertilsers are a combination of NPK - chemical symbols for N -nitrogen - this promotes leaf growth. P -phosphous - this promotes root growth and K - potassium - this promotes flowers. A very quick and simplistic view - but depending on what you want you to achieve you change the % of NPK to suit
