I have a neighbour who has been hospitalised for several months, meaning that his mail has been piling up. Unfortunately, another inconsiderate neighbour keeps placing it into the local post box and only about 60% of it is returned. When the mail arrives it is again put into the post box. I am sure this is illegal, but what laws can I inform housing about to make them take action??

I don;t know, but the thought that occurs to me is can't your nieghbour pay the PO for a forwarded mail facility so it goes to a relative or trusted friend ? (Or even the hospital maybe, not sure about that.)

Can you not take it in 'for safe-keeping' , or make sure that your neighbour receives it whilst in hospital ?

it would be a nice gesture to visit your neighbour in hospital, take the post and ask him what he wants to do about his mail.Dont forget the grapes !
