this may not be the right site to ask this, but, does anyone know if i can change my fridge door to open the other way, may sound silly but at the moment the opening side is near the wall in a corner as i had to move it to make way for somthing else, it would be so much better if i could make it open right to left instead of left to right, thank for any advise on this.

Some fridges and freezers have the brackets on the opposite side already... does yours?

^ I meant 'fittings' not 'brackets'...
Thanks guys and cecil39 for posting. I could do with changing mine over since I moved.

What about the handle?
Was the fridge designed to have reversible door? My Dad's is (it's quite new) but mine isn't (it's quite old).

well, i never looked before, but now you'v pointed it out i can see the blanking plugs you mention docspock, i just thought they were something to do with the manufacture of the thing, brilliant, and the 'handle' is a sort of bar that goes right across, thank you so much everyone, good job someone's got brains ain't it.
I intend to buy a LCD TV and have it on a shelf which would be, depending on the size of the television, anything from 12" to !8" above a radiator.
Does anyone know what effect if any this would have on the TV when the radiator is on?
