Just got soaked going down the garden to my big tin shed [from Argos] Mr S calls it "the mini supermarket" because I keep all sorts of tinned food, washing products, veg, fat balls for the birds etc in fact everytime I see a "bargain" in Tescos/Asda i.e. 2 for 1 I buy it and store it down there also got a freezer there .It saves me running out of stuff- loads of bog rolls down there too but the rest of the family takes the pee about that and the fact I wash the milk bottles in the dishwasher before I put outside for the milkman.I am normal arent I ? taking into consideration I am 73 on Wednesday.

I have more loo roll than you can shake a stick at, 16 rolls of Andrex for £4.50, I could hardly walk past that lol not sure about the milk bottles though, a quick rinse should be enough :-)
I have a part of the wardrobe in the spare bedroom as a store cupboard. I always stock up on bargains like BOGOF for things I need. I wouldnt buy it if I didnt normally use it. My husband keeps saying that things are breeding in there. He tries to use things up and another 3 appear. But he uses things for the sake of it and I tell him thats not the way to save money which I am trying to do. You have got to save where you can these days even if it means paying out more one week to save the following week when the BOGOFF is finished.
Its makes sense really, and age has nothing to do with it. Ive always been like that and Im now nearly 60.
