strange combi boiler noises

My boiler has started to make strange noises when the hot water is running. It makes a rhythmic noise that is loudish then quietens..... at the same time the water goes from hot to luke warm. Does anyone know what this is and is it fixable?

So many things that it could be Mrs b. It's probably not worth going into here since it's not likely to be something you or I could deal with. A good boiler man would though (heating engineer rather than a plumber). Sounds like it's quite fixable though :o)

Sounds like the water is backing up and then boiling up in the boiler itself, deffo fixable with a boiler engineer..

If you've got a maintenance contract with your boiler, I would give 'em a ring.
