Clearance around boiler housing
2 Answers
I have had new boiler installed and am now having the surrounding wall area redecorated with wood panelling. Does anyone know how much clearance should be left around the boiler housing to enable servicing to be done with ease?

Q1. What are the minimum clearances required around the boiler?
Combis (800 series) – Side: 5mm, Below: 180mm,
Above: 165mm (when using 100mm flue ) or /246mm (when using 125mm flue).
So it looks like on sides it is only 5mm. Below is no problem as there is pipeworrk there.
The "above" clearance - would that be between the housing and the base of the flue or the panelling around the housing? The panelling is currently flush with the housing at the top of the unit which is attached to the wall. The panelling is about 25 mm away from the wall.
