My son borrowed (whilst we were away on holiday) our DC07, and proceeded to break the bottom cable clip (yellow on mine) fixed to the bottom of the hose. Using superglue has not allows a repair (of course). All I can find on ebay are replacement hoses at £8-9 each. I can't see that this bottom clip is removeable. Dos anyone know whether it is, and can I buy just this bottom clip?

Their picture also shows it to be part&parcel of the hose. Looks like no alternative to the Freecycle sites!
