A friend of mine has come accross a bag of 200 of these in her father in laws home but doesnt know what they are?

Hi, unfortunately we dont know as the owner has passed away. I suggested clothes clips like what you get in new shirts etc but she said their too soft for that?

I think it's a Buttoneer refill. I've posted a Youtube clip but I'm having trouble posting links so I don't know if it will work...

I used to have a Buttoneer many years ago....a gadget to attach buttons to garments without having to sew them on.

Should have said - the fastener appears about 60 secss into the clip.
