Should Children Under 16 Be Barred From...

Sorry postie but this has been bugging me for years. Why is it so popular to peg out washing, even on cold days? I keep trying to be a super housewife but the washing usually gets rained on when I'm at work and it is so crispy I can barely get the iron thru.
If I tumble my clothes they are soft, smell lovely and are done in a few moments. I also don't need to iron anything. Does anyone agree as I seem to be the only one on the close not pegging, let alone colour-coordinating pegs!

I gave up that idea many years ago - and my family think I'm wonderful. Little do they know the number of tricks I've learned along the way......there's more to life than housework.
My washing is out in all weathers simply because it gets it out the house, I have a long garden - and I don't have any room for a tumbledryer. Don't bother about the rest of the herd (or close!) just do what's right for you.
Jeepster it's you guys I think I'm on about!! I just don't get it, that's all, but happy pegging. x
Silly Moo I agree life's just too short if you don't actually enjoy doing it.Can your friend speak to my neighbour who hands his skiddies up RIGHT IN MY VIEW I'm sure of it. By the way, read the previous posted question on the peg colours.
Scarlett - So many people I know have bought washer/dryer combi's, only to sell & replace them with separate ones. The tumble dryer part is so inefficient, compared to an independant one.
If you have the space & could afford to do so, I would definitely invest in a separate tumble dryer, (preferably reversair/two settings) you won't regret it!
Good luck.
