You are right about at one time all of it was wild Lottie........and folk got liver flukes :-(. The trouble with where it grows wild is it's hard to be sure it's not contaminated.....
Shame though Woof because the old watercress I remember had lovely lush green leaves and a wonderful taste. What you get now is a poor excuse. I am always disappointed when I taste it.
