We used to get jelly fluff in primary school for pudding it was delicious. I have tried to get the recipe to make for my kids and can't get the right one. Does anyone out there have the proper recipe for jelly fluff?

Could it have been jelly made with carnation(evaporated) milk and water ?

My mum used to make this.

You make a jelly and let it set.

Then beat in a large can of evaporated milk and let it chill again.

I must admit I'd never heard of this.

Before I actually read what was in it, I thought it sounded revolting, probably as it conjured up images of belly-button fluff !

Now I know what it consists of, it sounds alot better !!

thanks ursula - I can have a go now; although I remembered what was in it I couldn't remember what to do with the evap milk.
Mum used to use her kenwood liquidiser to mix in the evaporated milk, but you can do it with a hand mixer just as easily and it's less washing up as you can use the serving bowl to mix in!
You beat a can of carnation in the mixer. This will triple in volume, then add a cooled jelly not set and stir through. Then put in fridge to set (like a mousse)
