Anyone got a remedy for removing sweat smell from a T-shirt? I've washed it twice, including with Ariel bio rubbed directly into armpits, but it's still there.

soak overnight in soda crystals?
Sounds funny, but after you've washed and dried it rub some roll on deodorant into the armpits and leave it for a day. Wash it again and the odour usually comes out.

Thank you both, I'll try with the deo first (as I have that!) and then get some washing soda if it doesn't work!
Add bicarbonate of soda and white vinegar to the washing machine. It might also help to use a spray bottle on the affected area filled with a tablespoon or so of vinegar to a cup of water, with a little washing up liquid added, and leave the clothing for a while before washing.
How are you drying the T-shirt? If you're tumble drying, try using a good old-fashioned washing line instead. (That always seems the best way to get clothes really fresh).

Let us know how you get on, please .

I dry it naturally, it's real 'man sweat' and has defeated normal washing. I'd throw it away but it's a favourite. It only got this bad as it was repeatedly worn on a hot holiday. I'll let you know ladyalex.
Try soaking it in dissolved apsirins - it removes sweat stains therefore in theory ought to remove any lasting odours
