Zombie outfit

Hi all - need you help - my 8 year old has her annual danceshow next weekend - they have been told they have to make a zombie outifit for one of the dances - not a clue where to start - any cheap and cheerful ideas what I can do with a plain white tee shirt and black leggings???

buy some facepaints , black around the eyes.blood coming from mouth.thin red line under eyes.scar on forehead. and put grubby marks ad bloodstains on the tee shirt.result

Mess up her hair with some dry shampoo... Looks like dust :-) rip up the t-shirt a bit... She needs to look as is she has just crawled out a grave right? Zombies are really easy when you think about it.

yup, just smear on some mud, add a few rips and some blood splatters down the front.

regarding the makeup...light grey base, darker grey in cheek hollows and darker shading round eyes, blood around mouth...

not sure about the red line under eyes... never been sure why people do that, as zombie blood is black, and as they are dead they dont bleed...

can't help feeling that eight is a year or two too young to be getting kids to dress up like the undead with bloodstains, but I suppose they make them tougher these days
