I have a shower/bath and the curved screen has a strip of synthetic edging that stops the water from escaping where the screen meets the bath. This has become hard and welded itself to the glass screen. I phoned Jacuzzi twice to ask what I could use to remove it (I have bought replacements) but they only said soak it in warm water. How? The screen is a half inch higher than the edge of the bath and I can't see how to soak it as it is free floating if you know what I mean. I asked them about white spirit or meths or something but the girl said emphatically "No". Any ansers please?
Can you not use something like Plasticine to form a "bowl" around bottom of the screen where the edging has stuck, which you can then fill with warm water and leave to soak ?
