Can anyone please recommend a good quality secateurs? The last 2I bought were really useless. Felco and Wolf Garten have been suggested.

You will only buy Felco once.

Only Felco .. maybe Classic.
They will last years .. unlike Wilkinson Sword .. which seem ok to start with.
Two Which? Best Buys are: Fiskars Powerstep Pruner and Spear and Jackson Adjustable Bypass Secateurs.
You will only buy Felco once.
I'd agree with that. But not cheap. They are made in Switzerland.

Thanks for all the secateur answers. To billandhiscat, Wilkinsons was one of the failures hence my question
Wilkinson went downhill rapidly after they started introducing plastic and 'pressed' parts into their tools.
That should be enough to tell you to avoid .. if you want the good stuff.
