Broken zip
3 Answers
Hello. The plastic zip on my favourite jacket has started to stick really badly, and it is almost impossible to move. I know with a metal zip you can use a graphite pencil to rub on the teeth. Is there anything that I can do with a plastic one?
I have enquired at the dry cleaners (they put new zips in), and a new one would cost £30 plus the time it would take, and they don't think they could match the colour. I tried Vaseline yesterday, but all it's done is make a mess!
It's as if it's cross threaded, but I can't seem to straighten it out.
