Thought I'd share my good news. The thermostatic cartridge in the downstairs shower gave up recently after a mere three years. Went in as per instructions to replace it, only to find entire inner unit (brass) completely and utterly unmoveable. Not limescale (soft water). Just that thing that brass does ie not move.
No proof of purchase after three years...
The firm ummed and ah-ed when contacted, but after a good ol' talking-to agreed mid-day yesterday to replace the entire shower bar unit - which arrived this morning.
So i say well done that Bristan but especially well done me!
