Do you "feng shui" your house?

How do you do this? Particularly bedroom?

I probs will look online for books etc

Just seeing if any of you practice and if you feel any better for it x

No - the way some of our houses are built (e.g. with a loo at the top of the stairs) doesn't fit with some of the theory of feng shui. I do think that less clutter makes you feel better (says she, the clutter queen), but I couldn't be bothered to place this thing here because it's supposed to improve the flow - etc.

I did think about this a while ago, because someone said that my sofa having its back to the door was bad feng shui.

Also, the furniture in my sitting room is in the middle of the room (not back against the walls, if you see what I mean). Apparently this is also bad (presumably because someone could creep up behind you??) LOL

If the back of the sofa was to the door wouldn't you be sitting in a draught? Would we need Feng Shui to guide us to move it?

If my sofa was in the middle of the room rather than against the wall, we'd have a constant flow of catz flinging themselves onto our heads, from the back access.

Feng shui chinese for 'way to make money from gullible westerners' De cluttering is good for energy flow though and if you want to attract love use pinks and wood metal is masculine and blockes the vibes.. apparently don't put your bed between two mirrors or have one directly facing the foot of the bed and don't have electrical items in the bedroom if you can help it... if you do make sure they are switched off not on standby a pair of wooden ducks joined with red ribbon in the south east corner I think are supposed to attract new relationships..

They'd have to be on the market in time for next Christmas. That's not much time to commission designs, source materials, make samples, design packaging and labels, find manufacturer, arrange initial production run, write and produce marketing material, speak to distributors and retailers ... rowan, we have much to do! And then there's visiting all those adult shops to book orders!
