Featherbed or matress topper

Anyone got a featherbed? Or a memory matress topper?

I had a foam topper which i loved any may buy again hiwever cant help but want a featherbed? Especially QVC northern nights one but theyre so expensive!!!

Ebay has much cheaper ones so i thought id ask what you all think cx

i have memory foam pillow and i loooooove it! feathers make me sneeze so wouldnt recommend it lol

No experience of feather beds but they sound like a best buy for a long past generation to me. Can't imagine they'd better the memory foam option.

Yes I have a memory foam topper, and when I bought my last mattress I found the money for a memory one.

I've got a memory foam topper, best thing I have ever bought. I seem to remember that feather beds don't give you enough support and are not good for backs.

My topper was on 30quid from ebay and worked a treat i really notice the difference....i think a featherbed may be like sleeping ontop of another duvet?

Just going through reviews on qvc generally quite good... Decisions decisions!!!

I bought a feather pillow some time ago, and I couldn`t get the smell of ducks out of my nasal for day`s , so never again.

I have a Northern Nights feather bed from QVC. Expensive, yes but worth every penny! It's lovely just to sink into the downy softness ............. is it bedtime yet?

I have a feather quilt... I can't sleep on the pillows though... they give me earache :-(

Featherbeds absorb moisture and aren't very hygienic from what I remember. Well the old ones were. Perhaps the new ones are specially treated to stop that happening. They used to get heavier and heavier and heavier and they got older.

I have a good mattress and a memory phone topper and it's lovely.

I would never stop sneezing if I had feathers in anything. I sneeze all the time anyway!!

I did have a featherbed topper from QVC about 8 years ago, it was quite lovely to sleep on, but soon lost is lustre. I ended up selling it.
