Cherry scones
11 Answers
I don't do much baking but I am going to try my hand at some cherry scones tomorrow (and fruit ones for the ones who suddenly don't like cherry scones). I am fed up of buying cherry scones who you have to play 'hunt the cherry' but how big can I leave the pieces of cherry (I have bought whole glacé cherries)? Thanks.

In a scone mix they will stay where you put them. For a nice alternative make apricot scones. Use ready-to-eat apricots (not from a tin). Use kitchen scissors to cut them into small pieces. Two vertical cuts to make three strips, then cut into small squares. Have fun!
