Broken vertical blind 'hanger'
6 Answers
We have vertical blinds in our living room. The type that have plastic attachments at the top that clip into the 'holder' that allows the slats to be opened and/or rotated.
For one of our slats, the small plastic piece that clips into the holder has broken off (approx 7mm in length).
Can anyone recommend a way of solving this issue? I have googled but as I don't know the correct terms answers were limited. I have found somewhere that does replacements for the entire plastic hanging piece but as they are stitched into place I don't think I would be able to mimic this successfully.
Thanks.

If you want an easy & quick replacement while you sort out a permanent repair, try this.
Break existing hanger and remove all parts from blind strip.
Place a small paper clip where the hanger should go and then slide a cocktail stick ( or a piece of wooden ice-lolly stick if stronger) through the horizontal slot left by the hanger and through the paper clip.
A white paper clip of the correct size will never be noticed.
