Do you have any plans for the weekend?

I am going for drinky poos with colleagues after work, then home for a light dinner and maybe a long G&T. Tomorrow I am going to get Mr Swollen Balls out of the house for an hour or two - maybe to the garden centre for a latte and a scone, and for most of the weekend, I'm afraid I am going to be inundated with housework/laundry. I'm thinking homemade turkey koftas for dinner tomorrow and maybe a carvery over the road on Sunday. We'll see...

How about you?

Ooh tinks, what's the new slave like?
Sleep as soon as I get home from work tonight. Get up tomorrow, do some shopping, go out and get drunk at night for pals birthday, wake up hangover free on Sunday and have a dvd day. I have it all planned out see!! :-)
The man is coming down this evening so maybe drinkies, shopping and walks in woods/by reservoir catch up on cuddles Tell your other half I hope he feels better soon...
Not sure....Ginge has been a bit poorly for the last couple of weeks. So he'll probably just want to chill and watch films.

Pain-wise, he's not too bad, Rowan. The bruising is coming out and he's climbing the walls with boredom, but he seems to be making a good recovery. I think his biggest bugbear is having to lie on his back all night.

Hope you and Red have a great weekend. x
He won't mind that position when he is better of course... have a nice relaxing weekend give him a bedbath that will ease his boredom
Actually amazingly nice NoM cant believe my luck so far!! A good laugh, handsome but also a "door opener" etc - a gentleman, and there arent many my age xx
hope it goes ok for you Tinks
Thanks rowan...ive been on a few dates but ive actually known him for years and just havent seen him so its good that we know each other...but still have stuff to chat about...x

Give my love to Ginge, Ummmm. x

Tinks, good luck, I hope it goes well for you. x
lol @ "Mr Swollen Balls".

We've got a black tie do tonight (only invited last night) so having dealt with the initial panic about what I am going to wear and whether I can get a dress dry cleaned in 6 hours, I am sorted. However, I cannot for the life of me find "Himself's" clip together bow tie. Which means we are going to have to tie a real one. If I remember correctly, it took about 3 hours last time. (Groans). Tomorrow is going to be a "start the garden off" day.
I am having a glorious weekend of sorting through a dead book collector's antique books, and to top it all have roped in my ex to help me, so I am indeed a happy chappy. Not everyone's idea of fun I know, but if you like books as much as I do, it's seventh heaven:)

Flipping heck, BM, you just reminded me about my own garden, which is a bit of a tip. It needs sorting urgently. We're having the engagement party on the 23rd March, so that Swollen Ball's deadline to sort it...

Nox, I have a load of spare books if you want them. Nothing too academic in our collection though...
whatever im doing , it wont involve mr, swollen balls !!!!!!!!!!!!

Does your post have any relevance, Anne? Am I missing something?
garlic prawns tonight and fresh crusty bread, not got much further than that!
Question Author
Garlic prawns sound lush, fluff. :-)
I'm turning a blind eye to fish and chips tonight and beer because I've missed him... tomorrow he's back on track 'to support me of course'
