I really want "Rust" (reddish brownish orange) coloured dish towels, 100% cotton waffle weave to accent my kitchen tiles. I have searched and searched for hours online, to no avail. Can anyone please help? My last resort will be to buy white ones and dye them, but it's a lot of faffing about--and I worry about the colourfastness of dyeing. There are some places in the USA that sell them, but I don't want to pay the $38 shipping charge!!
I wouldn't worry about the colourfastness of dyeing towels. I've dyed some bath towels (from cream to bright purple) with no faff and they've not faded, washed out or dyed other things they've since been washed with.

Well I've dyed my dish towels, they came out brilliantly. I'm very pleased with the result. If anyone ever fancies rust coloured towels, mix Tulip Red, Goldfish Orange and Woodland Brown in equal amounts. I used Dylon hand dye on white 100% cotton towels. I'm quite into this dyeing thing now, it was so easy! Now what else needs doing.... :)
