Ironing

I hate ironing and I'm seriously thinking of contacting one of those 'We do your ironing' companies.
Have you ever used them or know someone who has, and are they expensive?

As that involved 14 work shirts a week plus her and her daughter's clothes I have hated ironing ever since.

I don't iron anything either. I wash the clothes and shake them as I take them out of the machine. I shake then again once they're dryand fold them up.
The key is to fold them really neatly as you take them off the line or out of the dryer, that way they won't crease then and you'll have no need for an iron.

As there is so little pressing of clothes done in our house; Viv and I have agreed that we sell our iron.

craft....Not only do I remember and have used the irons to which you have referred, there was also the wooden roller clothes mangles. In fact you could put some thing through the manger and not then need to iron them. They were wonderful for keeping a crease in trousers.
