have to send my niece some paperwork with a max weight of 600gms, so got a box which is 27cmx20cmx10cm and checked on the royal mail site for prices to post recorded 2nd class, i think i have got this right, in the fact that because of its size i can send it this way rather than by standard parcels, but the site isnt being kind to me so can anyone verify this for me, greatly appreciate hepl and hope this is the right category for this question, thanx all

If your package is 10cm thick, then you'll have to send it as a packet, rather than a so-called Large Letter.

A packet of 600gm 2nd class is £2.20 and to make it Recorded, you add 95p Recorded fee.

The prices on that leaflet are from the 30th April, next Monday. Until then it is cheaper. Take it to your local Post Office, they are best ones to tell you how much it will cost!
