This is very important as these heaters can prove dangerous if not properly maintained and are used in an area/room which is not suitably venillated.
I have tried to contact engineers, but no one wants to come out to it or they don't do repairs on them, its not worth there while, and I do know about buy spares, the part that has a thermocouple and igniter on is no longer available as the heater is 10 years old but there is an analyser which I am thinking of trying
Would suggest that you try contacting your nearest calor gas dealer for advice as to the nearest Calor Centre where where you can have the heater serviced.
The pilot/ignitor/thermocouple is a preset unit and any attempt to replace one item should definitely not be undertaken. it should only be replaced as a complete unit. as well as ignition of the appliance it is designed to monitor the levels of carbon dioxide in the room air, and by inference any build up of carbon monoxide in the room, therefore any tampering with the unit is to be highly discouraged.
Whilst these appliances can give many years of service if properly cleaned and serviced, it may well be a cheaper option in the long run to replace it.
