I have a beautiful red azaelea growing in a big white pot, fully out at the moment, a lovely sight. Obviously its planted in Ericaceous Compost. I wanted to plant some blue flowers underneath it so I have the red, white and blue colours for the Jubilee. My question is will petunias survive in this compost - or maybe blue lobelia or can you suggest any other blue flowers to plant to get this colour scheme please.

they might lose their blue colour a little and probably will not exactly not thrive why not have them in the pot for a few weeks then swap them for something else
