All my previousexperience of foxgloves ia that their flowers are purple - I now have one growing in my drive which started with yellow flowes and has now added white ones. Is this rare ?
I used to wonder how they fitted on a fox's paw when I was a little girl.
They're wonderful. I love to watch the bees make their way in and out of each opening, collecting the pollen. And I love the white speckly ones too.
loads of different varieties and species they hybridise happily there are a few yellow ones and a lovely foxy rust colour but my fave is the white one grown in the shade they look quite ghostly at dusk
