Can anyone give me a ball park figure for the cost of having a brick garage built (for one car) with a concrete base

you could start by giving a size you require small/large car, type of roof & what sort of door & any window.
not that I can help with an estimate.
Well, if you really want a guess, Siggers..............
Single brick, built off a concrete "raft" rather than footings, flat roof, single door................. say £10k plus VAT
I would guess at more than that. Nearer £15k .
I 'm basing it on what ours cost five years ago... ours was a double garage.
glad i dont want one built at them prices,
most people that have a garage don't put a car in it , it is full of clutter,
but I bet they put on their car Insurance search details that it is garaged.
There is virtually nothing in my garage other than our cars.
Don't judge people by your own standards.
