hope you have a luvlee hol!

I fold in half and then roll things. Less creases I find. Linen trousers are barmy they look creased anyway. Sainsbury do a brilliant soft jersey trouser which is really comfy, £8 and very understanding (for future ref) they are perfect for evening where is can be chillier. (or during the day in England LOL)
I always pack far too much and every single time I say that I am going to cut down on the amount I take .......... it is yet to happen. And I always use the laundry service on the last day, so I come home and everything gets hung up in the wardrobe, no washing or ironing. Have a great time by the way.
I don't travel in trousers, because I never know when I am going to come across a Turkish-style loo. Very difficult for ladies in trousers, Turkish loos.
As for packing, I lay everything in a pile on a bed, folded just enough to be the same width as the suitcase. I put the most delicate and most-easily creased things on the bottom, working up a pile with the least creasable on the top. Then I heap all my undies, nighties and swimwear and towels on top of that. Then I very loosely roll the pile from one end and simply place it in the suitcase.

We always take one shirt, pair of socks, underwear for each day, then one for spare. Then a pair of jeans or combat trousers each for every four days.
Years ago I wrote two check lists which I've saved on the computer. One is for travelling abroad and the other for in the UK where we can buy things more easily. I then print a list off when we start packing then tick all the items off as we go. They include things like sunglasses, spare glasses, spare belt, spare bootlaces, travel kettle, alarm clock, sunlotion, tickets and passports, medicines, headache pills, shaver etc. etc. Once everything is ticked off I know we haven't forgotten anything.
