Doorbell Solution
3 Answers
Anyone have suggestions with front doorbells? At the moment we have a wireless plug-in chime for the front door which is fine if we're in the lounge but useless when we're in the garden/shed/garage. The device goes out of range for the bell push even at the garage. Can't think what those of you do who live in an older larger property....

Have to say I have a much lower opinion of today's doorbells than I used to have; ever since I tried to replace the one that was with the house when I bought it. Wireless ones go off when no one is there. Wired ones are less common, and hardly any come with a transformer so you don't continually get caught out with flat batteries.
I trust Chuck's link is what you need. I'd have thought a wireless repeater must be available somewhere. Just need a solar powered bell/buzzer in the shed now.
