One of my relatives has asked me if I would like a makeover for my birthday.
Has anyone had one? Were you pleased with the results?

I once went for a makeover at a local college which runs a beauticians course. It was very cheap. I went straight from the makeover to pick one of the offspring up. I had several strange looks at the school gates and the words "Vegas Hooker" were mentioned
Was that an improvement, mrs_o?
A paper bag would have been an improvement

This is just hair and make up and a photograph. Not the whole caboodle. What did they do to you Mrs. O?
Tilly, I went for a make-up makeover. The girl was nervous and I think a trowel was involved.
LOL @ mrs overowl.
it'll do wonders for you, Tilly

My plumbings o.k.thank you, Tony. I need somebody who's into construction.
I'm pretty good with scaffolding Tilly ( runs for cover very quickly lol ).

Have you got a couple of RSJ's?
Many years ago I had a makeover and lessons at the Elizabeth Arden shop............it looked lovely, but the trouble was I could never do it the same myself (despite all the extremely expensive products they sold me)
I'm sure you wouldn't need RSJ's Tilly. A couple of Acrows maybe lol.
Think i'd be quite offended if someone suggested a makeover to me....
I have had a professional photography session where they did my hair and make-up which was fantastic and I felt amazing.

I have also had makeover and make-up lessons at Chanel, Bobbi Brown, Benefit and MAC. All very informative, I came away with notes how to re-create the looks and ended up spending a fortune on every product they used on me (gullible I know!!)

Every time I have been very pleased with the results. I think it's a lovely present.
Especially with you not being religious B00...............
sorry crafty? Don't get that.
Sorry meant to add, the make-up lessons weren't presents. I arranged them myself.

It would also depend on what they mean by a "Makeover"
