If You Had A Twin, But Didn't Realise...

We bought a children's swimming pool that can be inflated/deflated to fit in our back garden. Is there anything we can lay under it so it doesn't ruin our garden turf/green since it'll be pretty heavy on the garden turf once there's water in it?
Also, is there a way of conveniently storing it away after deflating it each time? The last one we had ended up sitting there forever deflated and became dirty (after a while) as we didn't know how to dry, fold or store it after each use.
