Laminate effect cushion flooring
4 Answers
My Mum`s got a small area of hallway and wants to remove the carpet and replace it with some sort of cushion flooring. I`m pretty sure the floor`s concrete. Can you just put the cushion flooring straight on concrete or do you have to lay some sort of linining or underlay?

Press into the corners and run a knife along the edge. If there is skirting all round add a little to slip underneath. Use this as a guide to cut your vinyl. fold the vinyl into four and then unfold into the edges. You will need a good stanley knife and make sure you have something underneath so you don't cut another surface. Handymen will cost you money. Newspaper is fine for lining. You can probably buy something as well. Make sure the surface is flat though. the pattern will wear if there are bumps. good luck!
