I'm so tempted to give it a whirl, tinks.

In the midst of a clear out at the moment, baby clothes that #2 has grown out of and all my maternity gear must go! Definitely no danger of either being used by me again!

Never sold on eBay before so find it a bit daunting!

ebay still take their 10% and paypal take their cut of your funds in, so price accordingly

I liked it back in May/June when they offered a £25 PayPal voucher to anyone who listed and sold an item for the first time. I'd been buying stuff for years, but never selling. The offer seemed too good to be true! So I listed a few Meccano gear wheels, and they sold (twice! a second set to the underbidder), then along came the voucher, and my wife used it to get £32 worth of Buy-it-Now wool for £7. I'm still wondering what eBay expected to get for their investment of £25.

Yes, you have to reckon that final value fees and PayPal fees will cost you 1/7 of the selling price, but you can start it at 99p for a zero listing fee if you're sure of your category and you include the right keywords.

I'm on £392.00 after 3 weeks of selling, it's kept me occupied but there are some numpties using ebay, mainly people who don't know how far away from you they live. time wasters, too arrogant to use a map of their adopted country.

I just make sure i list any faults, no returns and usually im ok xx
